The 2012 Poiesipedia literary intervention is not a first. It follows the poetic intervention at the 2011 the 2011 Frankfurt Book Fair.

With "Wow wow wow receiver" we enbarked in a multimedia project, during which a group of authors collectively wrote poems. Over three days, four authors from three continents jointly wrote texts thrice per day. To crown it all on day four, hardcopies of their book were printed using a "print-on-demand" machine, which was installed at the Poiesipedia booth.

Pam Brown (Sydney), Kenneth Goldsmith (New York), Lawrence Upton (London) und Peter Hauff (Frankfurt) were the authors, while Touka Neyestani took care of digital illustrations. Duncan White (University of the Arts, London) and LABKULTUR.TV in cooperation with Poiesipedia oversaw the project in 2011 - that team will play the same role in 2012 again. At the heart of the project were the question, how literature changes in a "digital modus operandi", how authors feel to work with others in a common, and yet culturally alien virtual space, and what this all means for our society.
